About the Role
As the High School Archery Coach with Grant County Schools, you will direct every facet of the archery program, guiding athletes toward both technical mastery and personal growth. This on-site, full-time coaching position calls for a leader who can build a structured, safe, and competitive environment while championing the values of discipline, focus, and good sportsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and oversee a complete archery program from practices through competitions.
- Provide instruction in proper shooting form, safety procedures, and the technical fundamentals of the sport.
- Supervise student-athletes during training sessions, meets, and team activities.
- Stay current with evolving coaching theories, techniques, and best practices, refining your approach as the sport advances.
- Foster a positive team culture grounded in respect, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated, successful coaching experience in the assigned sport.
- Strong command of the technical elements of archery, paired with a willingness to keep learning and applying new methods.
- Proven ability to organize and supervise an entire athletic program effectively.
