About the Role
As Executive Chef at NEXDINE in Oak Hill, Fairfax County, you will direct all aspects of culinary operations, shaping menus, guiding kitchen teams, and upholding the responsive, transparent, and authentic standards that define the NEXDINE Experience. You'll set the tone for quality, consistency, and hospitality in every dish served.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily kitchen operations, from food preparation through final presentation, ensuring exceptional standards.
- Design seasonal, finely tailored menus that reflect the tastes and needs of the people we serve.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and inspire culinary staff to perform at their best.
- Manage food cost, inventory, ordering, and budgets to support efficient, profitable operations.
- Maintain strict compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Partner with management and clients to deliver expertly managed, customized dining programs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef, Head Chef, or in a comparable senior culinary leadership position.
- Strong command of menu development, food costing, and kitchen administration.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate a culinary team.
- Thorough knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Availability to work full-time on-site in Oak Hill, Fairfax County.
