Supervisor, Line II

AbbVie is seeking a results-driven Supervisor, Line II to lead daily manufacturing operations at our Downey, Lake County facility — a full-time, on-site role for an experienced production leader ready to drive quality and efficiency.

About the Role

As Supervisor, Line II at AbbVie in Downey, Lake County, you will oversee a dedicated production line team, ensuring that output meets the rigorous quality, safety, and compliance standards expected within the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the day-to-day activities of Line II production staff to meet output, quality, and schedule targets.
• Champion adherence to safety protocols, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and regulatory requirements across all shift operations.
• Monitor line performance, troubleshoot disruptions, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Coach, develop, and evaluate team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Partner with cross-functional teams in quality, engineering, and supply chain to support production goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in line with company and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory or team-leadership experience, ideally within manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or a regulated production environment.
• Strong working knowledge of safety, quality, and compliance practices relevant to line operations.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, on-site production setting in Downey, Lake County.
• Availability to work full-time on-site (this role is not remote).
