Production Supervisor – First Shift

About the Role

As the First Shift Production Supervisor, you will direct the flow of work on the production floor, keeping output, quality standards, and turnaround times on track for the hospital partners NOVO serves. This is an on-site, full-time leadership position based in Louisville, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on operations setting and takes pride in running a safe, efficient shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee first-shift production activities and coordinate the day-to-day workflow across the floor
• Lead, schedule, and motivate a team of production associates to meet output and quality targets
• Enforce safety protocols and infection-control practices throughout all processing stages
• Track linen utilization and productivity metrics to identify and eliminate unnecessary costs
• Maintain consistent service levels that meet the standards expected by partner hospitals
• Train new staff and provide ongoing coaching to support performance and accountability
• Communicate progress, staffing needs, and operational issues to plant management

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory or team-leadership experience in a production, manufacturing, or processing setting
• Strong understanding of safety and quality-control standards, ideally within a regulated environment
• Availability to reliably work the first shift on-site in Louisville, Jefferson County
• Effective communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
• A results-driven mindset focused on efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement
