Mesa Rim Climbing Centers
Mesa Rim Climbing Centers is hiring a full-time Site Manager in San Marcos, San Diego County, to lead daily operations at our North City climbing facility and help advance our mission of strengthening the local community through climbing.
About the Role
As Site Manager, you will oversee the complete operation of our San Marcos location, reporting directly to the Director of Operations. This is an exempt, full-time leadership position in which you guide assigned department managers, supervisors, and coordinators while ensuring the site runs smoothly, safely, and in line with Mesa Rim's vision of improving quality of life through the transformative power of climbing.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the day-to-day running of the San Marcos (North City) climbing center, from facilities to member experience.
- Lead, mentor, and support department managers, supervisors, and coordinators assigned to your team.
- Partner with the Director of Operations to set priorities and meet operational and business goals.
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive environment that reflects the company's community-focused values.
- Uphold safety standards and quality of service across every area of the facility.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing a site, facility, or multi-team operation, ideally within fitness, recreation, or hospitality.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing and coaching teams.
- Sound judgment in balancing operational demands with staff and member needs.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- A genuine connection to community, wellness, and the climbing lifestyle.
- Availability for full-time, on-site work in San Marcos, California (this role is not remote).
