Caregivers Needed – (FT/PT)

Options4U is seeking compassionate Caregivers (Full-Time and Part-Time) in Hammond, Tangipahoa Parish to support individuals in our community and brighten lives one smile at a time.

About the Role

As a Caregiver, also known as a Direct Service Worker (DSW), you will play a central part in helping the people we serve live with dignity, comfort, and independence. This Hammond-based position offers a balanced 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation running Sunday through Saturday, giving you steady, predictable scheduling with meaningful time to recharge.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, person-centered daily care and companionship to the individuals we support
• Assist with everyday living activities, encouraging independence and personal well-being
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for those in your care
• Work cooperatively with the Options4U team to deliver consistent, high-quality support
• Follow the alternating Sunday-to-Saturday schedule reliably and on time

Qualifications

• A genuine commitment to caring for and uplifting others
• Dependability and a strong sense of responsibility
• Patience, empathy, and clear communication skills
• Willingness to work weekday and weekend shifts, with availability on Saturdays and Sundays
• Comfort working both Full-Time and Part-Time hours as scheduled

Compensation

This Caregiver role pays $10.50 to $13.50 per hour, with additional pay offered for shifts worked on Saturdays and Sundays.
