About the Role
As a Tree Climber I with Texscape Services, part of the Monarch Tree Services and Monarch Landscape Companies family, you will safely scale and prune small to medium-sized trees while supporting the broader crew on day-to-day tree care operations in and around Houston. This entry-level climbing position is ideal for someone eager to build technical skills in a field-first organization that genuinely invests in its people.
Key Responsibilities
- Climb small to medium-sized trees safely using approved gear and techniques
- Trim, prune, and shape trees to promote healthy growth and maintain appearance
- Assist fellow crew members with ground support and overall tree care tasks
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols on every job site
- Help keep equipment and work areas clean, organized, and ready for the next task
Qualifications
- Comfortable climbing and working at height on small to medium trees
- Physically able to perform demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
- Willingness to learn proper climbing, trimming, and tree care methods
- Reliable and able to work full-time on location in Houston, Harris County (this is not a remote position)
