Evergreen Real Estate Services is hiring an Operations Compliance Specialist to join our Property Management team in the West Loop, Chicago. This hybrid, part-time role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives on keeping complex operational processes accurate, compliant, and on schedule.
About the Role
As the Operations Compliance Specialist at Evergreen Real Estate Services, you will help steer the company's annual rent adjustment process and support the broader operational strategy of our Chicago portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Operational Strategy, you will work approximately 28 hours per week on a hybrid schedule, splitting time between our West Loop, Chicago office (two days) and remote work (two days).
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute the firm's yearly rent adjustment cycle, ensuring deadlines and regulatory requirements are met.
- Review property management operations for adherence to internal policies and applicable compliance standards.
- Partner with the Director of Operational Strategy to refine workflows and strengthen operational controls.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting to support audits and leadership decision-making.
- Identify process gaps and recommend practical improvements across the property management function.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail with a track record of managing recurring, deadline-driven processes.
- Familiarity with property management, real estate operations, or regulatory compliance is highly valued.
- Comfort interpreting policies and applying them consistently across operational tasks.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid setting while collaborating closely with leadership.
