Mercor is seeking an Economist with expertise in economics and technical writing skills to work on evaluating AI model performance on economics problems and improving task quality and throughput.
Requirements
- PhD in Economics, MS/MA in Economics with 3+ years experience, or BA/BS in Economics with 5+ years experience
- Working fluency in at least two of: microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, industrial organization, labor, development
- Comfortable with supply/demand figures, econometric output, and policy charts
- Clear technical writing skills; articulate reasoning step-by-step
