We are looking for a Geographic Information System Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Geography, Earth Sciences, or GIS, or equivalent experience. The role involves authoring technical tasks to evaluate AI model performance in geography and earth sciences, reviewing and annotating problem sets, and collaborating with AI research teams.
Requirements
- PhD in Geography, Earth Sciences, or GIS
- Working fluency in at least two of: physical geography, human geography, GIS, remote sensing, cartography
- Comfortable with maps, satellite imagery, GIS output, and topographic figures
- Clear technical writing and articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form
