About the Role

As a CAT Scan Tech at Hudson Regional Hospital, you will operate advanced computed tomography equipment to produce accurate diagnostic images that support clinical decision-making. This full-time, on-site position in Pamrapo, Hudson County calls for someone who follows departmental protocols closely while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of CT positioning and imaging procedures in line with departmental protocols, including 3D reconstruction and image-guided biopsies.
• Prepare and administer contrast media safely and appropriately.
• Operate, clean, and disinfect CT equipment while maintaining a well-functioning, sanitary workspace.
• Carry out routine quality control testing to verify image accuracy and equipment performance.
• Apply radiation protection principles to safeguard patients, colleagues, and yourself.
• Work within clinical systems such as PACS, Putty, Carevue, OpenVista, and CDI PACS for imaging workflow and documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Applied Science or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated competency across CT positioning and procedures per departmental standards.
• Hands-on experience with contrast administration, equipment operation, and quality control practices.
• Working knowledge of PACS and related radiology information systems.
• A strong commitment to continuing education and radiation safety.
