Mercor is hiring a Research Psychologist to work on AI model performance. The job requires a PhD in Psychology or related field with 3+ years experience or a BA/BS with 5+ years experience. The role involves evaluating AI model performance, producing problem sets, and providing feedback. Compensation is $70–$78/hour.
Requirements
- PhD in Psychology, PsyD, or MS in Psychology with 3+ years clinical, research, or applied experience.
- BA/BS in Psychology with 5+ years applied research, clinical support, or teaching experience.
- Working fluency in at least two of: cognitive, clinical, developmental, social, biological psychology.
- Comfortable reading and interpreting experimental designs, statistical plots, and behavioral data figures.
- Clear technical writing; able to articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form.
