Mercor is seeking a Senior Economist to evaluate AI model performance on economics problems, requiring a PhD in Economics or equivalent experience and working fluency in at least two economics fields.
Requirements
- PhD in Economics, MS/MA in Economics with 3+ years experience, or BA/BS in Economics with 5+ years experience.
- Working fluency in at least two of: microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, industrial organization, labor, development.
- Comfortable with supply/demand figures, econometric output, and policy charts.
- Clear technical writing skills; articulate reasoning step-by-step.
