About the Role
As a Maintenance Technician at La Quinta Inn & Suites Albuquerque West, you'll be the go-to professional who keeps our facilities, systems, and equipment operating at their best. Our team is growing, and we're searching for a reliable, hardworking individual who knows how to diagnose issues, perform routine upkeep, and plan ahead to extend the life of our equipment while reducing safety risks. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Albuquerque, Bernalillo County.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled inspections across the property to spot wear, damage, or potential hazards early.
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems, fixtures, and equipment.
- Develop and recommend proactive measures that maximize equipment lifespan and minimize downtime.
- Respond promptly to repair needs to keep facilities safe, functional, and guest-ready.
- Help maintain a secure environment by addressing safety concerns before they escalate.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a comparable hands-on maintenance role.
- Practical know-how to keep facilities and equipment in top working condition.
- A reliable, self-motivated work ethic with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to identify problems and apply effective, lasting solutions.
- Availability for full-time, on-site work in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
