Gilbane, Inc. is hiring a full-time Project Manager II in Orlando, Orange County, to lead the day-to-day execution of a mid-sized construction project from groundbreaking through close-out. If you are technically sharp, a confident communicator, and energized by collaborating with a team on demanding builds, this on-site leadership role is built for you.
About the Role
As Gilbane's on-site Project Manager II, you will be the company's lead representative at the job site, present every day and accountable for the project's overall direction, successful delivery, and financial performance. This is a hands-on position central to keeping a medium-sized construction project on schedule, on budget, and aligned with Gilbane's standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the on-site Gilbane manager, providing daily leadership and direction across the project.
- Own the complete delivery of a medium-sized construction project, from planning through completion.
- Manage and monitor the project's financial outcome, driving cost control and profitability.
- Coordinate closely with project teams, trade partners, and stakeholders to maintain progress and resolve issues.
- Maintain a consistent on-site presence to oversee execution, quality, and schedule.
Qualifications
- Strong technical background in construction project management.
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to working within a team.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and take ownership of results.
- Comfort leading from the job site on a daily, in-person basis (this role is not remote).
