Texas A&M Agrilife Research is seeking a driven Postdoctoral Research Associate to join the Department of Soil & Crop Sciences in College Station, Brazos County, Texas. About the Role
As a Postdoctoral Research Associate with Texas A&M Agrilife Research in College Station, you will work alongside faculty and graduate students within the Soil & Crop Sciences program, contributing to ongoing studies and helping translate research findings into practical outcomes for Texas agriculture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, conduct, and document laboratory and field experiments within the Soil & Crop Sciences department.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret research data using sound scientific methods.
- Prepare manuscripts, technical reports, and presentations for peer-reviewed publication and professional meetings.
- Collaborate with research teams and support the mentorship of graduate and undergraduate students.
- Assist in developing proposals and contributing to grant-funded projects.
Qualifications
- A completed doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in soil science, crop science, agronomy, or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in experimental design, data analysis, and scientific writing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a record of or potential for scholarly publication.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative research team.
