About the Role
As a Roofing Assistant with BJU Staff, you'll work alongside skilled roofers throughout the US, supporting the installation, repair, and upkeep of a wide range of roofing systems. Your day-to-day contributions keep job sites running smoothly, ensuring every project moves forward efficiently and meets high safety standards. This is a full-time, on-site position ideal for dependable team players who take pride in quality craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Aid skilled roofers in installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing materials such as shingles, tiles, and metal roofing components
- Carry, organize, and prepare tools, supplies, and materials so crews can work without delays
- Support a clean, hazard-free work area and follow all on-site safety protocols
- Take on a variety of general labor tasks that help projects finish on schedule
- Assist with setup, cleanup, and material handling across active roofing sites
Qualifications
- Willingness to perform physically demanding work outdoors and at heights
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and following crew instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to thrive as part of a roofing team
- Eagerness to learn roofing techniques and develop trade skills on the job
- Authorization to work full-time, on-site within the US
