About the Role

This full-time JSU - Graduate RN opening at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center is designed for nursing students who are within a few months of graduation or have recently graduated. As a Graduate Registered Nurse, you will deliver individualized, compassionate care to assigned patients while building real-world experience across a variety of nursing units in De Armanville, Calhoun County.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care guided by the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Develop and adjust care plans tailored to the unique needs of each assigned patient.
• Complete a structured orientation program to transition confidently from student to practicing nurse.
• Maintain availability for a flexible schedule that supports staffing across all nursing units.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote safe, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program with graduation expected within the coming months, or a recent nursing school graduate.
• Working toward, or prepared to obtain, licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Willingness to complete the required orientation process before independent practice.
• Ability to commit to a flexible schedule across multiple nursing units.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine dedication to patient care.
