About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician at POET, you'll play a hands-on part in sustaining safe, reliable production at our Fairmont, Fillmore County facility. This is an on-site, full-time position built around a Monday–Thursday workweek, ideal for a mechanically minded problem-solver who takes pride in keeping equipment and systems performing dependably day after day.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on plant machinery, equipment, and systems to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues as they arise.
• Conduct regular inspections and respond promptly to maintenance requests across the facility.
• Document completed work, parts used, and equipment status to support accurate maintenance records.
• Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a clean, compliant, and well-maintained work environment.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in industrial, mechanical, or facility maintenance is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or process equipment and the ability to troubleshoot effectively.
• Comfort using hand tools, power tools, and standard diagnostic instruments.
• Strong attention to detail, dependability, and a commitment to workplace safety.
• Willingness to work on-site in Fairmont, Fillmore County on a Monday–Thursday schedule.
