EchoStar is hiring a full-time Field Technician in Milford, New Haven County, to deliver hands-on connectivity and installation services that keep customers connected across television, smart home, and mobile experiences.
About the Role
As a Field Technician with EchoStar in Milford, New Haven County, you will be the face of our brand in the field, traveling to customer locations to set up, troubleshoot, and maintain the technology that powers everyday connectivity. This on-site, full-time position is ideal for a practical problem-solver who enjoys working independently, meeting people, and turning complex installations into seamless customer experiences. Please note that this role is performed in the field and is not remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and service connectivity and smart home equipment at residential and business sites
- Diagnose technical issues and carry out repairs or replacements to restore service quickly
- Walk customers through how their equipment works and answer questions on-site
- Complete service documentation accurately and manage your daily route and schedule
- Uphold safety standards and represent EchoStar professionally at every appointment
Qualifications
- Comfort working hands-on with hardware, cabling, and technical equipment
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to solving problems
- Clear, friendly communication when working directly with customers
- Ability to work independently across multiple field locations during the day
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally within the Milford, New Haven County area
