Harris & Associates is hiring a full-time Construction Manager in the United States to help steer high-impact infrastructure work within our Program & Construction Management Division based in Monterey County, California.
About the Role
As a Construction Manager with Harris & Associates, you will take ownership of delivering complex highway, roadway, and utility projects from inception through completion. Working alongside a collaborative project team, you will act as the central liaison for the client, ensuring that each engagement is executed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee the end-to-end delivery of highway, roadway, and utility construction projects.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, building strong, trust-based relationships.
- Coordinate closely with internal Harris teams, contractors, and stakeholders to keep projects aligned with goals.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, proactively resolving issues as they arise.
- Champion compliance with safety regulations, quality controls, and applicable construction standards.
Qualifications
- Proven, hands-on experience managing construction projects, ideally within highway, roadway, or utility infrastructure.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams toward successful project delivery.
- Excellent communication and client-facing abilities suited to a primary point-of-contact role.
- Comfort working collaboratively in a fast-moving, team-oriented environment.
