About the Role

As an Engine Dyno Engineering Technician at Bosch in Farmington, Oakland County, you will operate and maintain engine dynamometer test cells used to evaluate engine performance, durability, and emissions. This hands-on, on-site position places you at the center of Bosch's mobility engineering work, partnering with development teams to turn test data into real-world innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, instrument, and run engine dynamometer test cells for performance and durability programs.
• Install, calibrate, and verify sensors, data acquisition equipment, and test hardware.
• Monitor test sequences, record results, and flag anomalies during engine runs.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on dyno systems and supporting equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers to prepare test plans and document findings accurately.
• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards within the test environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on technical experience with engine testing, dynamometers, or automotive powertrain systems.
• Familiarity with instrumentation, data acquisition tools, and mechanical assembly.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail when working with complex test setups.
• Ability to work on-site full-time in Farmington, Oakland County.
