Parsons is hiring cleared Data Scientists across the US to transform complex, mission-critical data into actionable intelligence in support of national security programs. About the Role
As a Data Scientist at Parsons, you will design and deliver analytical solutions that turn raw, high-volume datasets into clear insights for decision-makers. Working alongside engineers, analysts, and program leaders on-site within the United States, you will build models, uncover patterns, and help solve some of the most demanding problems in the defense and intelligence space. This is an on-location position; remote work is not available, and an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, train, and validate statistical and machine learning models against large, structured and unstructured datasets.
- Clean, transform, and engineer features to prepare data for analysis and modeling.
- Translate ambiguous mission questions into measurable, data-driven approaches.
- Communicate findings through clear visualizations, dashboards, and briefings for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to operationalize analytics within secure environments.
Qualifications
- An active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph is required for consideration.
- Hands-on experience with data science methods, including statistical analysis and machine learning.
- Proficiency with programming and analytics tooling commonly used in data science workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex results plainly.
- Eligibility to work full-time on-site within the US.
