Maintenance Technician

Lutheran Services Carolinas is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician to join the Trinity Oaks team in Spencer, Rowan County. About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician with Lutheran Services Carolinas in Spencer, Rowan County, you will help maintain a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for residents and staff. This is a full-time, on-site position working Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with participation in an on-call rotation. Compensation is based on your level of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance to keep equipment and systems in reliable working order
• Use a two-way radio to stay coordinated with the team throughout each shift
• Communicate and collaborate daily with fellow teammates, residents, visitors, and outside vendors
• Respond to maintenance needs as they arise, including during scheduled on-call periods

Qualifications

• Three years of maintenance experience preferred
• Comfort performing routine preventative and general upkeep tasks
• Strong interpersonal skills and a service-minded approach when working with residents, visitors, and vendors
• Availability to work a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and share in an on-call rotation
