Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer ready to shape the backbone of the nation's power infrastructure? Jacobs is hiring a full-time Electrical Engineer based in the Old Sixth Ward of Houston to lead the design of large-scale electrical power systems.

About the Role

As an Electrical Engineer at Jacobs in Houston, you will apply advanced technical knowledge to the engineering of major electric power infrastructure. This role centers on the design of power generation facilities, high voltage (HV) and medium voltage (MV) substations, and the planning of utility distribution networks. You will work closely with utility clients on nationwide projects, blending hands-on engineering skill with leadership and a team-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer large-scale electric power systems, including power generation plants.
• Develop solutions for HV and MV substations across utility projects.
• Support and contribute to utility distribution planning initiatives.
• Partner with utility clients to deliver reliable, technically sound power infrastructure.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership across project teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing large-scale electric power systems.
