Twin Pines is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join our New York City team and safeguard regulatory integrity across our growing multifamily portfolio. This on-site, full-time role offers the chance to shape compliance standards at a property management firm reimagining residential living throughout NYC.
About the Role
As Compliance Manager at Twin Pines, you will lead compliance oversight across multiple residential sites in New York City, reporting directly to the Managing Director. You will serve as the organization's trusted authority on regulatory requirements, helping ensure that every community we manage — from market-rate buildings to large-scale affordable housing — operates within applicable rules and standards. This is a hands-on, multi-site position ideal for a detail-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, expanding environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate compliance activities across Twin Pines' multi-site property portfolio in New York City
- Monitor adherence to housing, affordability, and regulatory program requirements
- Develop, document, and refine internal compliance policies and procedures
- Partner with on-site teams and leadership to address compliance findings and reduce risk
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and audit documentation
- Report regularly to the Managing Director on compliance status and recommendations
Qualifications
- Proven background in compliance, ideally within property management, multifamily housing, or affordable housing programs
- Strong working knowledge of regulatory frameworks relevant to residential real estate
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to manage compliance responsibilities across several sites simultaneously
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with teams and leadership
- Comfort operating on-site in a fast-growing organization
Compensation
The full-time base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $85,000, determined by level of experience, plus a discretionary bonus.
