About the Role

As a Field Technician Turn based in Orlando, Orange County, you'll play a key part in the home turnover process — completing the repairs, updates, and upkeep needed between residents so each property meets American Homes 4 Rent's standards before a new lease begins. This is a full-time, in-person position with no remote option.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform turn-related maintenance and repairs to ready single-family homes for new residents
• Inspect interior and exterior areas, documenting issues and addressing them promptly
• Handle general repair tasks across plumbing, electrical, drywall, paint, appliances, and fixtures as needed
• Coordinate with property and maintenance teams to keep turnover timelines on track
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment at every property

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential maintenance, repair, or a related skilled trade
• Working knowledge of common home systems and general handyman skills
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple homes and deadlines
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between properties across Orange County
• A valid driver's license and dependable, self-directed work ethic
