Social Copywriter

SALT XC is hiring a full-time Social Copywriter to join The Kitchen, our in-house creative studio, on-site in Schiller Park, Cook County. If you write words that move at the speed of culture and turn briefs into scroll-stopping social content, this role was made for you.

About the Role

As a Social Copywriter at SALT XC, you'll craft sharp, original copy for social-first campaigns that come to life across platforms — and sometimes scale all the way up to broadcast. You'll sit within The Kitchen, North America, a collaborative team where creatives, producers, data analysts, and social specialists build remarkable ideas side by side. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Schiller Park, Cook County.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop fresh, on-brand copy for social media campaigns and content across a range of channels.
• Translate creative briefs into ideas that connect with audiences and reflect current cultural moments.
• Partner closely with creatives, producers, data analysts, and social experts to bring concepts from idea to execution.
• Adapt your voice and tone to suit different brands, formats, and mediums — from social posts to longer-form work.
• Contribute to a fast-paced team that produces ideas designed to stand out and perform.

Qualifications

• Proven experience writing copy for social media and digital channels.
• A portfolio that demonstrates versatile, culturally aware writing across multiple platforms.
• Strong collaboration skills and comfort working alongside cross-functional creative and data teams.
• The ability to manage shifting priorities and deliver quality work under tight, culture-driven timelines.
• Availability to work on-site in the Schiller Park / Chicago area.
