About the Role

As the KABC Weekend Reporter/Fill-in Anchor, you will report compelling stories across every platform while stepping confidently into the anchor chair when needed. We are searching for a driven, versatile journalist ready to help ABC7 Los Angeles push its coverage to new heights in Glendale and throughout Southern California.

Key Responsibilities

• Cover breaking news and enterprise stories for weekend newscasts and digital platforms.
• Serve as a fill-in anchor, delivering polished, credible newscasts on demand.
• Develop original story ideas and cultivate sources across the Los Angeles area.
• Produce content optimized for broadcast, streaming, and online audiences.
• Contribute to the Eyewitness News team's mission of leading a highly competitive market.

Qualifications

• Proven, hands-on experience as a television news reporter.
• Substantial anchoring experience with the presence to fill in seamlessly.
• A track record of strong, multi-platform storytelling.
