Paralegal

Madanes Law is hiring a full-time Paralegal in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, to partner closely with our attorney and take genuine ownership of substantive legal work across a busy, multi-state practice.

About the Role

This Paralegal position is built for someone meticulous who wants to do more than schedule and file. As a Paralegal at Madanes Law in Los Angeles, you will support active matters in business litigation, landlord/tenant disputes (including landlord-side evictions), small business formation, and general corporate counsel spanning California, Utah, and Illinois. You will collaborate side by side with our attorney and contribute meaningfully to the outcomes of real cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with business litigation matters from intake through resolution.
• Support landlord/tenant cases, including landlord-side eviction proceedings.
• Help guide small business formation and ongoing corporate matters.
• Coordinate filings, deadlines, and case scheduling with accuracy and care.
• Work directly with the attorney across California, Utah, and Illinois engagements.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and a genuine sense of ownership over assigned work.
• Familiarity with litigation, landlord/tenant, and corporate or small business matters.
• Ability to manage multiple cases across several jurisdictions simultaneously.
• Clear, organized communication and dependable follow-through.
• Comfort working closely and collaboratively alongside an attorney.
