Seeking a Data Governance Tech Lead for a remote contractor position. Must have 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with experience in data governance, management, or compliance and proficiency with tools such as Confluence or Notion. English language proficiency of B2 or higher required.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in a previous data governance, management, or compliance role
  • 1-2 years of experience documenting enterprise-level data policies or classification schemas
  • Experience working with registry tools such as Airtable or equivalent spreadsheet-based systems
  • Familiarity with standards and frameworks such as GDPR, NIST, ISO 42001, or the EU AI Act
  • English level of B2 or higher
  • Availability for a remote work model based in Portugal
  • Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit
