Supervisor – Civil

ACCIONA is a global company that promotes regenerative infrastructure and sustainable development. We are seeking dedicated Supervisors across multiple disciplines to join our growing Energy Hubs and Substations team. As a Supervisor, you will ensure all construction works meet specifications and relevant standards, and provide positive leadership to subcontractors. The project involves building new high-capacity transmission lines, energy hubs, and supporting infrastructure for the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) transmission network.

Requirements

• Preferable 5+ years’ experience in electrical, civil, structural, cables termination, commissioning or in the management of other relevant trade packages as a supervisor
• Experience working on large scale renewable energy transmission lines, energy hubs and substations or infrastructure style projects
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others
• Presented problem solving / analytical skills
• Understands specifications and drawings
• Experience in managing subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and procedures
• Demonstrated relevant leadership skills
• Ensuring all relevant regulatory requirements are satisfied
• Competent in planning and organising work schedules
• Working knowledge of HS&E requirements and implementation of same
• Self-confident and able to persuade, convince or impress others to gain their commitment and co-operation to a course of action
• Good at multi-tasking and demonstrates sound judgments, including balancing competing issues
• Must be able to issue clear directions to construction workers
• Clear communication – verbal and written
