Counsel

Forward Financing is a financial technology company based in Boston, Massachusetts with team members throughout the United States, Dominican Republic, and Canada. As Counsel, you will help shape our Company’s long-term strategy, and drive its mission of providing access to capital for under-served small businesses.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working as an attorney in a litigation role.
• Experience writing briefs and doing caselaw research.
• Strong attention to detail and issue-spotting skills.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior attorneys, management, fellow employees and external counsel.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Self-motivated, organized and able to work independently.
• Effective in a fast-paced environment, with an ability to juggle multiple workstreams and pivot quickly.
• Ability to solicit, receive, and implement feedback with the goal of relentless improvement.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
