Direct Counsel is seeking a Private Companies Associate to join a highly respected Am Law firm in Downtown Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of experience representing early-stage and growth-stage companies in corporate and strategic matters.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of corporate experience at a national or international law firm
- Significant experience representing emerging growth and venture-backed companies
- Experience advising clients on venture capital financings, corporate governance, and liquidity events
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and client counseling skills
- The ability to manage sophisticated client relationships in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school
