About the Role

As a Part-Time Clerk Dispatcher with Dougherty County, you serve as a vital communications link between field personnel and the resources they rely on. Working from the Police Department in Albany, you will continuously monitor radio traffic and dispatched calls, relaying timely and accurate information so that officers and supervisors can respond effectively. This position operates under close to general supervision, following established procedures while exercising sound judgment to decide how and when specific tasks should be carried out. The Department fills this role on a continuous, ongoing basis.

Key Responsibilities
