About the Role
As an Auto Mechanic with Jimmys Auto Care, you'll join a hands-on service team dedicated to diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles. This is a full-time, on-site position based in North Charleston, Charleston County. We're searching for a dependable professional who takes pride in quality workmanship and genuinely cares about the customers who count on us.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical issues and carry out repairs across a variety of vehicle makes and engine types
- Complete routine maintenance and scheduled servicing to keep customer vehicles in top condition
- Inspect components, identify worn or failing parts, and recommend appropriate fixes
- Maintain accurate records of the work performed on each vehicle
- Collaborate with fellow technicians to deliver timely, high-quality service
- Uphold safety standards and keep the workspace clean and organized
Qualifications
- Previous hands-on automotive experience working with a range of engines
- Solid diagnostic and repair skills across mechanical systems
- A reliable, conscientious approach to showing up and following through
- Strong teamwork and the willingness to contribute to a shared goal
- A commitment to adding genuine value to the shop and its customers
