About the Role

As a Van Driver with Regional School Unit 05 (RSU 5), you will play an essential part in our district-wide transportation team. This is a school-year position with both full-time and part-time openings available throughout the RSU 5 district. Drivers are responsible for getting students to and from school and related activities reliably, on schedule, and with safety as the top priority. This role is based on-site in the US and is not remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport students safely between home, school, and district destinations across RSU 5
• Follow assigned routes and maintain timely, consistent schedules
• Uphold all traffic laws, district policies, and student safety procedures while driving
• Conduct routine checks of the van and report any maintenance or safety concerns
• Provide a calm, supportive environment for students during transport

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license appropriate for operating a school van
• A clean and responsible driving record
• A genuine commitment to student safety and dependable attendance
• Strong attention to scheduling, routes, and on-time performance
• Ability to work cooperatively with students, families, and school staff
