About the Role
As the Site Safety Manager for Ace Electric in Metrocenter, Hinds County, you will own day-to-day safety leadership on the jobsite. You will partner with project teams, electricians, and subcontractors to keep work compliant, hazards controlled, and crews protected from the first conduit run to final inspection.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and enforce site safety programs across commercial, mission critical, education, and healthcare electrical projects.
- Conduct regular jobsite inspections, identify hazards early, and drive corrective action to completion.
- Deliver toolbox talks, orientations, and ongoing safety training for field crews.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, document findings, and recommend preventive measures.
- Verify compliance with OSHA standards and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain accurate safety records, audits, and reporting for each active site.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience managing safety on construction sites, ideally in electrical or commercial trades.
- Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and jobsite safety best practices.
- Strong communication skills to coach crews and influence behavior at every level.
- Sharp attention to detail with the discipline to document and follow through.
- Ability to work full-time, on-site in Metrocenter, Hinds County (this is not a remote position).
