About the Role

As a Mortgage Inspector with NOFS, you will serve Harrison County, Mississippi, verifying the occupancy status of residential properties on behalf of lenders and servicers. This is a full-time, contractor-based position that rewards self-starters who can manage their own schedule and complete assignments reliably with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned residential addresses throughout Harrison County to perform on-site mortgage inspections.
• Determine and document whether each property is occupied or vacant.
• Capture clear, accurate observations and submit timely, well-organized inspection reports.
• Work independently in the field, organizing routes and assignments to meet deadlines.
• Maintain a professional, courteous presence while representing NOFS in the community.

Qualifications

• Prior experience performing mortgage, field, or property inspections.
• Comfortable working autonomously without direct day-to-day supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and dependable, accurate record-keeping.
• Reliable transportation to cover residential properties across the West Gulfport and greater Gulfport area.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to consistently meet turnaround expectations.
