About the Role
As a full-time Aquatic Instructor based in the US, you'll lead swim lessons for young learners across a range of ages and ability levels. If you enjoy spending time with children and feel at home in the pool, this position offers a meaningful way to make a difference. New to teaching swim lessons? That's perfectly fine — our Senior Director of Aquatics provides hands-on training and a complete curriculum so you're fully prepared to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach swimming techniques and water safety to children of varying ages and skill levels
- Deliver lessons using the curriculum and methods provided during training
- Create a supportive, encouraging, and safe environment in and around the water
- Help young swimmers build comfort, confidence, and progress toward their goals
- Work alongside the aquatics team to support a positive learning experience
Qualifications
- A genuine enjoyment of working with children
- Comfort and ease in the water
- Willingness to learn — prior swim instruction experience is welcome but not required, as full training is provided
- Reliability and a commitment to participant safety
