About the Role
As a Medical Assistant Instructor, you'll lead engaging, hands-on instruction that prepares students for rewarding careers in healthcare. This is a full-time, on-campus position in University Place, Pierce County, where you'll guide learners through both the technical competencies and the professional soft skills they need to land their first job in the field. Your classroom becomes the launching pad for students stepping into a brand-new career.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, engaging instruction that meets program standards and learning objectives.
- Develop students' clinical and technical medical assisting skills through practical, hands-on training.
- Coach learners on the soft skills and professional habits employers look for in new graduates.
- Support students throughout their journey so they are job-ready and confident upon completion.
- Foster a focused, encouraging classroom environment built on discipline and accountability.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in the medical assisting or allied health field.
