Opal Hotels Group is hiring full-time Housekeepers in Ashland, Hanover County, to help craft the clean, comfortable, and inviting rooms our guests remember long after checkout.

About the Role

As a Housekeeper with Opal Hotels Group in Ashland, Hanover County, you'll be at the heart of the guest experience. Working within the Housekeeping department and reporting to the Facilities Manager and Housekeeping Supervisor, you'll prepare guest rooms and suites so every arrival feels fresh, restful, and welcoming — a calm retreat where travelers can unwind or settle in to finish a bit of work.

Key Responsibilities

• Service guest rooms and suites efficiently, leaving each space spotless and ready for the next stay.
• Make beds, refresh linens, and replenish towels and in-room amenities to brand standards.
• Dust, vacuum, sanitize bathrooms, and remove trash to keep every room consistently clean.
• Report maintenance needs and any damaged or missing items to your supervisor or the Facilities Manager.
• Handle cleaning supplies and equipment safely while following established health and safety practices.
• Respond courteously to guest requests, contributing to a comfortable and memorable stay.

Qualifications

• A keen eye for detail and genuine pride in delivering high cleanliness standards.
• Reliability, strong time management, and the ability to work steadily through a full-time schedule.
• Comfort with the physical demands of housekeeping, including standing, bending, and lifting throughout a shift.
• A friendly, guest-focused attitude and willingness to support the wider housekeeping team.
• Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience is welcome, though we're happy to train motivated candidates.
