Project Manager 1

About the Role

As a Project Manager 1 based in Lexington, Middlesex County, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects across the New England and Northeast regions. This is an on-site, full-time position ideal for an early-career project professional looking to grow within a long-established construction management firm. You will collaborate closely with senior project leaders, field teams, subcontractors, and clients to keep work moving on schedule and within scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the day-to-day progress of assigned construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to maintain project schedules and quality standards.
• Track project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and contracts.
• Support budget monitoring, cost tracking, and reporting alongside the project team.
• Communicate regularly with clients and internal stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Help ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with applicable codes and regulations.

Qualifications

• Background or growing experience in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with diverse project teams.
• Familiarity with construction documents, scheduling, and project coordination is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Lexington, Middlesex County.
