GD Information Technology is hiring a cleared Senior Software Engineer (TS/SCI with Polygraph) to design and deliver mission-driven software solutions for high-impact government programs across the United States.
About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer at GD Information Technology, you will architect, build, and refine software that supports sensitive national-security missions. This is a full-time, on-site position based in the US, ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives on solving demanding technical challenges within a collaborative, cleared environment. Because of the classified nature of the work, US citizenship and an active clearance are required.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, and maintain reliable software solutions that meet complex mission requirements.
- Analyze and engineer components for large-scale, complex systems from concept through deployment.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teammates to translate technical needs into working software.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and document code to ensure long-term performance and supportability.
- Contribute engineering expertise across the full software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of related software engineering experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work with complex systems and deliver robust software solutions.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills within a collaborative engineering setting.
- Must currently hold an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph, and be able to maintain it.
- US citizenship is required; no additional certifications are required for this role.
