Sr. Cloud Architect

ActioNet has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Cloud Architect to join our interdisciplinary team to deliver the next generation of cloud-native data analytics and production systems for one of the nation’s leading public data sources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong focus on AWS services.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance – US Citizenship for Eligibility
• Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud-native applications.
• Strong understanding of application migration strategies and tools.
• Excellent knowledge of AWS services (S3, EMR, Glue, Lambda, AWS Step Functions, Athena, Redshift, SageMaker, QuickSight) and best practices.
• Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures.
• Strong skills leveraging IaC developing automated deployment and orchestrations solutions using TerraForm, CloudFormation, and other scripting tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers and teams.
• AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) is highly preferred.
• Experience supporting federal government organizations and missions is highly preferred.
