Walnut Valley Unified School District is hiring a full-time Custodian II to help keep our school facilities clean, safe, and welcoming for students and staff. This is an on-site, 12-month position based in the United States.
About the Role
As a Custodian II with Walnut Valley Unified School District, you will play a hands-on part in maintaining a healthy learning environment. This is a 12-month, eight-hour-per-day assignment scheduled Monday through Friday, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. You will work under the general direction of a site administrator, a School Operations Manager, and the Director of Maintenance, Operations, and Transportation. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine custodial and cleaning duties across assigned school facilities and grounds.
- Help ensure classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas remain sanitary and orderly.
- Support a safe, comfortable environment for students, staff, and campus visitors.
- Carry out tasks during the evening shift in coordination with site supervisors and operations leadership.
Qualifications
- Prior custodial or facilities experience meeting the role's stated requirements (review the full listing for details).
- Ability to work independently under general supervision while following direction from site and operations leaders.
- Availability to work the full-time, evening schedule of 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining clean and safe school spaces.
