About the Role
As a Freelance Vacancy Assessment Observer with FAR Inspections, you'll serve as an independent contractor visiting residential properties throughout Walton County to document occupancy status and property condition for mortgage servicers. This is a full-time, field-based position centered in Miramar Beach and the neighboring communities, ideal for self-motivated individuals who enjoy working independently and managing their own day.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to assigned residential addresses across Walton County to confirm whether homes are occupied or vacant
- Observe and record the exterior condition of each property accurately and objectively
- Capture clear photographs and complete inspection reports that meet client standards
- Submit findings promptly and reliably for every assignment
- Represent FAR Inspections professionally and with discretion while in the field
Qualifications
- Residence in or near Miramar Beach, or elsewhere within Walton County, Florida
- A valid driver's license and access to a dependable vehicle for regular local travel
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate, honest reporting
- Ability to work autonomously as an independent contractor and manage assignments without direct supervision
- Reliability, punctuality, and clear communication
