Lumbra is hiring an Executive Assistant to the CEO in Arlington, Arlington County — a high-trust, full-time role at the center of a fast-moving company building mission-critical AI for the most demanding government environments.
About the Role
As the Executive Assistant to the CEO, you will be the operational backbone of the executive office at Lumbra. Based on-site in Arlington, Arlington County, you will manage the details that keep a founder-led company moving — calendars, communications, travel, and the countless priorities that compete for a CEO's attention. This is a partnership role for someone who thrives on anticipation, discretion, and getting ahead of problems before they surface.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and optimize the CEO's calendar, resolving scheduling conflicts and protecting time for what matters most.
- Coordinate domestic travel, logistics, and itineraries with precision and contingency planning.
- Prepare the CEO for meetings with agendas, briefing materials, and timely follow-ups.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact between the CEO and internal teams, customers, and external partners.
- Handle sensitive information with absolute confidentiality and sound judgment.
- Track action items and deadlines, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
- Support special projects and day-to-day operations as the company scales.
Qualifications
- Proven experience supporting senior executives, ideally at the CEO or founder level.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and stay composed in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Sound discretion when handling confidential and sensitive matters.
- Comfort working on-site in Arlington, Arlington County, in a defense-oriented setting.
