About the Role
NAPA is far more than a parts store, and our Store Counter Sales associates are the heartbeat of that experience. As the first face customers see when they walk through our doors, you are the trusted point of contact who helps drivers, repair shops, and DIYers find exactly the right part. Hands-on mechanical know-how is a welcome bonus, but it is not a requirement to thrive in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome every customer who enters the store and serve as their go-to resource for automotive parts and solutions.
- Listen closely to customer needs and match them with the correct components and accessories.
- Deliver knowledgeable, friendly service that turns first-time shoppers into loyal regulars.
- Support day-to-day retail operations to keep the store running smoothly.
- Represent the NAPA brand with professionalism and genuine enthusiasm.
Qualifications
- A people-first attitude and a passion for helping customers solve problems.
- Strong communication skills and a welcoming, approachable manner.
- An interest in automotive parts; technical or mechanical experience is a plus but not required.
- Reliability and a team-oriented mindset suited to a busy retail counter.
- Availability for full-time work at our Memphis, Shelby County location.
