About the Role
As Senior Manager, Operations at Textron in Hunt Valley, Baltimore County, you will oversee day-to-day operational functions and guide cross-functional teams toward measurable results. This is a full-time, on-site position central to delivering the innovative defense technologies and services Textron Systems is known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate operational activities to meet production, quality, and delivery objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop operations teams, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
- Establish and monitor performance metrics, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and reduce waste.
- Partner with engineering, supply chain, and program management functions to align operations with business goals.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards across the Hunt Valley site.
- Manage budgets, resources, and staffing to support operational and organizational priorities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in operations management, ideally within a defense, aerospace, or complex manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated leadership of teams, with a track record of building high-performing, accountable groups.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with fluency in performance metrics and process improvement methods.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across multiple functions and levels.
- Ability to work full-time on-site at the Hunt Valley, Baltimore County location.
